Sparkling White Cranberry Sangria
Ingredients
1/4 cup of sugar
1 cup of white Rum
1 cup of diced red apples
1 cup of diced green apples
1 cup of fresh or frozen cranberries
1 bottle of Chardonnay (lightly oaked)
1 cup of white cranberry juice (chilled)
2 cups of Soda water (chilled)
Lemon twist for garnish
Method
1. In a large pitcher, combine the sugar and rum, stir to dissolve.
2. Add the apples, cranberries, Chardonnay and white cranberry juice.
3. Refrigerate for several hours or overnight.
4. When ready to serve add the Soda water and stir to combine. Pour into ice-filled glass and scoop in some of the fruit.
5. Top each glass with a lemon twist.
